The Cochran Bankruptcy Law Firm realizes that filing for bankruptcy is expensive. We will make every effort to make filing affordable. Please feel free to call us to work out a payment plan that is affordable for you.
Attorney fees may be higher depending on the complexity of your case, the number of creditors, jurisdiction or if you have a pending garnishment.
You can make periodic payments as we work on your case. If you have a pending garnishment we may be able to get that money back and apply it towards your bankruptcy fees.
CALL OUR OFFICE AND THE COCHRAN LAW FIRM WILL DO A QUICK APPROXIMATION OF WHAT YOUR CHAPTER 13 PLAN PAYMENT WILL BE.
The Chapter 13 is a repayment plan usually lasting 36 to 60 months. If there is no foreclosure or court action pending we will usually put our attorney fees into your plan to be paid by the trustee.
Our fee balance will be paid by the trustee over the life of your plan. We will make necessary modifications and reviews of your case during the life of the plan without additional charges. Additional fees may be charged for extraordinary services subject to court approval.
In many cases your chapter 13 monthly payment may be lower than your current car and debt payments even with our fee included. That is because we may be able to pay unsecured creditors a small percentage and reduce the principal and interest on secured loans.
